A container that r 158 requires to be labelled must stay labelled until it has been cleaned so it no longer presents a risk to health, or until its contents have been chemically deactivated, cured or neutralised so any residue is harmless. Empty drums and containers therefore keep their labels up to that point. Maximum fine: 100 penalty units (individual) or 500 (body corporate).
