Victoria Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2017 r147-148: rr 147 and 148 Provide the current and any revised safety data sheet to recipients

A manufacturer or supplier (including an importing supplier) must see that a copy of the current SDS goes to every person it supplies with a hazardous substance, no later than the first supply to that person, and to any employer who asks for it because it proposes to use the substance at a workplace (r 147). When the SDS is revised under r 146, a copy of the new version must reach each recipient on or before the first supply to them after the revision (r 148). In each case one duty holder complying is enough for all. Neither duty applies to a retailer or retail warehouse operator supplying in a consumer package, or to fuel put into a vehicle's fuel tank.
