Victoria Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2017 r127C: r 127C Items of Schedule 2 amusement structures must be registered

Each individual Schedule 2 amusement structure needs registration as an item of plant under Part 6.2 Division 2A, in addition to any design registration; section 40(2) of the Act prohibits using it at a workplace while unregistered. Transitional dates apply. Where design work on the item began before 1 July 1995, the requirement starts on 1 November 2027. Where design work began from 1 July 1995 onward and either the design holds Part 6.2 Division 2 registration or an application under r 127A for interstate recognition has been made, the requirement starts on 30 October 2026. In either case, if an application under r 513B is received before the relevant date but not decided by then, the requirement is deferred until the applicant receives notice of registration under r 513J or notice of refusal under r 513F.
