Victoria Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2017 r126: r 126 Altered designs of Schedule 2 plant must be registered

When a registered Schedule 2 plant design is altered so much that the plant needs new risk control measures, the altered design needs its own registration under Part 6.2. An altered design must also be registered where the original design was exempt from registration because of r 125(2) (design begun before 1 July 1995) or r 127 (interstate registration), the alteration requires new risk control measures, and, for an interstate design, the alteration has not been registered by the same corresponding Authority that registered the first version. Section 40(2) of the Act prohibits using plant whose required registration has not been obtained.
