Victoria Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2017 r111: r 111 Tractors must have roll-over protection

A self-employed person or employer must not let a wheeled tractor be used at its workplace unless roll-over protection is fitted. The rule does not apply to: a tractor built in Victoria or brought into Victoria before 1 July 1981 where fitting roll-over protection is not reasonably practicable; a tractor used where there is no likelihood of overturning; a tractor whose roll-over protection has been temporarily removed or lowered while it works under trees or other vegetation or in another space too tight to work with it fitted; or a tractor weighing under 560 kilograms in its lightest normal new retail form without water, fuel or lubricating oil.
