The self-employed person or employer managing or controlling an amusement structure to which r 106A applies must give the people involved in its commissioning, installation, use, inspection, maintenance, storage, testing, decommissioning, dismantling and disposal access to the operating and maintenance manuals and to the logbook, except the per-occasion training details in r 106A(3)(k)(iii). When control of the structure passes to another person, a copy of the logbook and of the manuals must be given to that person. For r 106A, inspectors include those appointed by a corresponding Authority and inspectors appointed under the Equipment (Public Safety) Act 1994 (s 12), and a statutory notice means a non-disturbance, improvement, prohibition or infringement notice under the Act, that Act or a corresponding Authority's law, all of which must be logged. Each breach carries up to 60 penalty units (natural person) or 300 (body corporate).
