UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) Reg.21A: Regulation 21A: Claims management marketing calls only with prior consent

A person must not make, or instigate, unsolicited direct marketing calls about claims management services (advice, financial help, representation, referral or introduction, or inquiries relating to a claim for compensation, restitution, repayment or other remedy, whether by legal proceedings, a regulatory scheme or a voluntary undertaking) unless the called subscriber has previously notified that caller of consent to such calls on that line. A subscriber must not allow its line to be used in breach.
