Singapore Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act 2003
Part 2 and the Second Schedule: unfair practices a supplier must not engage in – Singapore Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act 2003

Singapore Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act 2003 S2-15-19: Vouchers honoured as represented, and gifts and prizes delivered as offered

What does S2-15-19 require?

A supplier must not represent that another supplier will supply goods or services, or supply them at a reduced price, on presentment of a voucher when it knows or ought to know that will not happen (paragraph 15), and must not offer gifts, prizes or free items with a supply when it knows or ought to know they will not be provided, or not as offered (paragraph 19). Voucher issuers need back-to-back arrangements with the redeeming merchants, and promotions need fulfilment stock and clear conditions.
