Singapore Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act 2003 4b: No false claims

What does 4b require?

Making a false claim to a consumer in relation to a consumer transaction is an unfair practice in itself, whether or not anyone was in fact misled. Suppliers need a substantiation process so that every factual claim about goods, services, prices, origin, performance or the supplier's own credentials can be shown to be true at the time it is made.
