Samoa Telecommunications Act 2005 CPR-3-6: Customer information and advertising rules (Customer Protection Rules 2017)

On request, providers give customers accurate, relevant, plain-language information on terms of service, covering at least service capabilities and limitations including the minimum guaranteed quality, geographic availability, all fees and when they apply, invoice frequency, and whether fees may change during the contract and how changes are notified (rule 3). Advertisements and notices about service performance must show what customers can reasonably expect in availability and performance under typical use (rule 4). Promotions must state start and end dates, advertising must be removed promptly from public places after a promotion ends, and conditions must be communicated comprehensibly and legibly (rule 5). Advertised bundles must be fully suppliable and state the minimum total charge (rule 6).
