Ending the tenancy – Queensland Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008

Queensland Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008 s290: s 286 and s 290C to s 290G and s 365A Grounds-based notices must be genuine and not misleading

A notice to leave for sale with vacant possession, planned demolition or redevelopment, significant repairs or renovations that cannot safely be done with the tenant in place, change of use, or owner or relative occupation is given only where that ground genuinely applies, and contains no information the lessor or agent knows is false or misleading in a material particular (unless the error is disclosed and corrected).
