When an agreement ends and goods remain, the former lessor may dispose of them only if their value is below the prescribed amount, storage would be unhealthy, unsafe or would destroy their value, or disposal costs exceed proceeds; otherwise it stores them safely for the prescribed period, then sells them at auction (by any prescribed procedure) or as the tribunal orders, lets the owner reclaim them on paying reasonable removal and storage costs, and pays any sale balance after costs to the public trustee within 10 days. Personal documents and money left behind go within 7 days to the former tenant, the known owner or the public trustee.
