Where a tenant gives a notice ending tenancy interest because of domestic violence, the lessor tells the tenant within 7 days whether it will apply to have the notice set aside and, for co-tenancies, when the other tenants will be told and that the agreement continues for them; gives each remaining tenant a continuing interest notice between 7 and 14 days after the vacating tenant's interest ends (with any bond top-up amount due no earlier than one month later); charges the departing tenant no costs of ending the tenancy, goods left behind or reletting; and neither the lessor, its agent nor their employees disclose the supporting evidence or the tenant's personal information except as the Act allows.
