PCI DSS 4.0
Req 12: Information Security Policies

PCI DSS 4.0 12.10.2: 12.10.2 Annual review and testing of the incident response plan

On a cycle of no more than 12 months, the entity must review its security incident response plan, updating the content where needed, and must test it, with the test covering every element listed in Requirement 12.10.1. The guidance explains that tests can take the form of simulated incidents or table-top exercises involving relevant personnel, and that reviewing how well the simulated response went helps confirm nothing required is missing from the plan. Customized approach objective: the plan stays current and undergoes periodic testing.

You are reading one control. How much of PCI DSS 4.0 have you already done?

PCI DSS 4.0 12.10.2 is one control. If you already hold one of the frameworks below, a reviewed crosswalk already says how much of PCI DSS 4.0 your existing evidence covers. Hold ISO 27001:2022 and 139 of 280 PCI DSS 4.0 controls already carry evidence.

Each report names every control your existing framework evidences, every one it does not, the reasoning behind each claim, and the claims that were argued against and rejected. 415 were rejected on the ISO 27001:2022 pair alone.
