PCI DSS 4.0
Req 12: Information Security Policies

PCI DSS 4.0 12.10.4: 12.10.4 Periodic training for incident response personnel

Personnel whose job includes handling suspected or confirmed security incidents must be trained appropriately and periodically on their incident response duties. The guidance explains that without trained and readily available responders, damage can spread and poor handling of affected systems can spoil later investigation, and it stresses that responders know how to manage evidence for forensics. Customized approach objective: responders understand their role and duties in incident response and can obtain help and guidance when needed.

You are reading one control. How much of PCI DSS 4.0 have you already done?

PCI DSS 4.0 12.10.4 is one control. If you already hold one of the frameworks below, a reviewed crosswalk already says how much of PCI DSS 4.0 your existing evidence covers. Hold ISO 27001:2022 and 139 of 280 PCI DSS 4.0 controls already carry evidence.

Each report names every control your existing framework evidences, every one it does not, the reasoning behind each claim, and the claims that were argued against and rejected. 415 were rejected on the ISO 27001:2022 pair alone.
