The holder of a contractor licence must ensure that, whenever residential building work or specialist work it is licensed to contract for is being done by it or on its behalf, the work is done by the holder of an endorsed contractor licence or a supervisor or tradesperson certificate authorising that work, or under the supervision and direction of the holder of such an endorsed licence or supervisor certificate, and in a way that does not breach any requirement under this or any other Act. Maximum penalty 1,000 penalty units for a corporation and 200 otherwise.
