NSW Food Regulation 2025
Part 10: egg food safety scheme and the Salmonella Enteritidis licence condition (sections 157 to 179, Schedule 8) – NSW Food Regulation 2025

NSW Food Regulation 2025 Sch 8 cl 3: Demarcate the egg production area, sign every entrance with a contact-first notice and the licensee's details, brief entrants on the biosecurity measures, and admit only those who agree to follow them

What does Sch 8 cl 3 require?

The production area must be clearly marked off from the rest of the property. Each usable entrance carries a clearly visible sign saying no one may enter without contacting the licensee, with the licensee's contact details. Before anyone enters they are given the measures in place to meet Schedule 8 and how to follow them, and permission may be granted only to people who agree to comply.
