Chapter 7: Installation and environmental considerations – NFPA 111-2025 Standard on Stored Electrical Energy Emergency and Standby Power Systems

NFPA 111-2025 Standard on Stored Electrical Energy Emergency and Standby Power Systems 7.6.1-7.6.2.2: 7.6.1 to 7.6.2.2 Acceptance test

After installation the system is tested for output and function, and an on-site acceptance test decides final approval. For battery systems: with batteries fully charged and a load bank at rated value, normal power is cut at the supplying switches; all emergency loads, including those normally off, are included; the time until the EPS takes the load, the load voltage and current and, where relevant, frequency, waveform and transients are recorded; the test runs 15 minutes or the class time if shorter, recording load and battery voltage and current and frequency; normal power is restored and the transfer time observed; then the system recharges on normal power for 24 hours.

What else in your programme already covers this

This control maps to 2 controls across 2 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.

Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
