ISO 22316
Clause 5: Attributes of organizational resilience – ISO 22316

ISO 22316 5.9: 5.9 Supporting continual improvement

Resilience grows when the organization keeps checking its performance against criteria set in advance, learning from experience, improving and seizing opportunities, and when every employee shares a culture of continual improvement. The organization should show, and build on, a continual improvement culture that keeps objectives, strategies and procedures in step with its changing needs, together with a commitment to validating its resilience activities and capabilities and to improving them continually. It should give priority and resources to mechanisms for monitoring and evaluating performance that support continual improvement, and to performance management criteria that respond when changes affect organizational objectives.
