Where Module F applies, every product is examined and tested by the notified body against the approved type and the body issues a certificate of conformity and applies its identification number; the manufacturer keeps the certificates available for inspection. Under Module C1 the manufacturer, or someone on its behalf, tests each product on specific aspects under the responsibility of a notified body and applies that body's number during manufacture. Under Module G the manufacturer gives the technical documentation to the notified body, which examines and tests the unit and affixes its number. In each case the manufacturer controls its process so products conform.
The graph holds this control, the 0 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
