Australia Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Rule 2014 (PGPA Rule) 19: Banking received money: an official who receives bankable relevant money deposits it in a bank before the end of the next banking day, or within any period the responsible accountable authority's instructions prescribe

What does 19 require?

Officials who receive relevant money that can be banked must deposit it by the close of the next banking day (a day other than a weekend or a local public holiday) unless the instructions of the accountable authority responsible for the money set a different deposit period, in which case that period applies. The responsible accountable authority may belong to a different entity from the official.
