A person that publishes or broadcasts (or continues to), or causes to be published, an advertisement about all or part of a VET course, offers or continues to offer to provide one, or represents that one is available, includes the name and registration code of the registered training organisation that will issue the VET qualification or statement of attainment: offence of 300 penalty units, civil penalty of 600. The duty binds agents, brokers and marketing partners as well as RTOs.
