An NVR registered training organisation makes no representation, in an advertisement or otherwise, that is false or misleading in a material particular about all or part of a VET course, a course held out as one, a VET qualification or one held out as one, or its own operations (ss 100A to 100D: offences of 300 penalty units, civil penalties of 600). Any other person, such as an education agent, marketer or unregistered provider, makes no such representation about VET courses or qualifications (ss 122 to 125: offences of 60 penalty units, civil penalties of 120).
