A person that is not a registered training organisation does not purport to issue a VET qualification or statement of attainment (offence of 1,500 penalty units, civil penalty of 3,000 each), and no person purports to issue a qualification or statement as a VET qualification or statement of attainment when it is not one (offence of 1,500, civil penalty of 3,000). Non-accredited training certificates must not be presented as nationally recognised.
