VIC H1D10 keeps the ABCB Standard for Construction of Buildings in Flood Hazard Areas as the Deemed-to-Satisfy route for H1P2 but replaces its definitions of flood hazard area and freeboard with those in Victoria's Schedule 1 and its definition of defined flood level with Schedule 1's. VIC H2D6(1) requires gutters and downpipes to be designed and built to AS/NZS 3500.3 (the Housing Provisions Part 7.4 option in H2D6(1)(b) and (3) does not apply). VIC H6V1 and VIC H6D2 restate the national energy provisions for Victoria. A rainwater tank must be installed in a Class 1 building under the regulations made under the Building Act 1993 (Victoria); from 1 October 2023 that requirement sits in NCC 2022 Volume Three (VIC B6D2 and VIC B7D4). VIC A2G2(5), which bars Performance Solutions for certain combustible cladding, concerns Class 2 to 9 buildings.
