Queensland leaves QLD H1P2 and QLD H1D10 blank, because flood hazard area building work there is controlled through the Building Act 1975 and Queensland Development Code MP 3.5. QLD H1D6(4) adds that structural timber must be of a species listed for that use in Schedules A, B or C of Book 2 of the December 2017 'Construction timbers in Queensland' (Class 1 and 10 buildings), in addition to AS 1720.1, AS 1720.5, AS 1684.2, 1684.3 or 1684.4 and AS 1860.2. QLD H7P1 and H7D2(1) are left blank because pool barriers are regulated under the Building Act 1975. QLD H7D4(3): the bushfire construction requirements do not apply where, under AS 3959, the classified vegetation is Group F rainforest (excluding wet sclerophyll forest types), mangrove communities or grasslands under 300 mm high.
