NSW H7P1 keeps the national pool barrier requirement for pools over 300 mm deep but applies it with the Swimming Pools Act 1992 and the Swimming Pools Regulation 2018; NSW H7D2 accepts barriers to AS 1926.1 and AS 1926.2, or for a spa pool clause 9 of that Regulation, and recirculation systems to AS 1926.3. NSW H7D4 applies AS 3959 or the NASH steel bushfire standard as amended by Planning for Bush Fire Protection, excludes BAL-FZ construction from the Deemed-to-Satisfy route, and allows either as modified by development consent after consultation with the NSW Rural Fire Service or by a bush fire safety authority under section 100B of the Rural Fires Act 1997. NSW H3D5 uses NSW Part 9.4 of the Housing Provisions for fire separation of garage-top dwellings. NSW Part H8 is left blank: livable housing design does not apply to Class 1a buildings in NSW.
