Queensland adds QLD H1P3: the risk of subterranean termites damaging primary building elements of a Class 1 or 10 building must be adequately minimised by a suitable termite management measure that has a design life of at least 50 years for a non-temporary Class 1 building (or 50 years or the building's specified design life, whichever is less, for other buildings), or is easily accessible for replenishment or replacement and capable of it. To the degree necessary the measure must be accessible for installation, maintenance and inspection and include measures to minimise the risk of it being damaged, bridged or breached. QLD H1D3(3) makes compliance with Housing Provisions Part 3.4 satisfy both H1P1 and QLD H1P3.
