Tasmania replaces H7P2: a pool recirculation system must include safety measures against entrapment or injury (pools over 300 mm deep), and pools must have an adequate, suitable and safe water recirculation, disinfection and filtration system (not required for a pool associated with a Class 1 building that is under 300 mm deep and not over 15 m3). TAS H7D2(2): for pools over 300 mm deep and over 15 m3 the system must comply with AS 1926.3, keep water movement continuous from inlet to outlet, recirculate the pool contents at least once every 6 hours outdoors or 4 hours indoors, and keep filtration rates at or below 12,250 L/m2 of sand filter bed per hour or the equivalent in other media.
