South Australia varies H3P1(1) so that protection of a Class 1 building against fire spread covers fire from another building (other than its associated Class 10 building), from the allotment boundary (other than a road or public space boundary) and from a Class 10b brush fence. SA H4P1(2) requires floors of bathrooms and rooms with a shower or sanitary fixture to be installed so water does not accumulate on the surface. SA H7D4(3) fixes the bushfire attack level from the Planning and Design Code: BAL-Low in general bushfire risk areas, BAL-12.5 in medium risk areas, the AS 3959 site assessment in high risk areas, BAL-Low in urban interface areas within 500 m of a high risk area and the AS 3959 assessment within 100 m of one.
