Australia National Construction Code 2022 Volume Two (Building Code of Australia, Class 1 and 10 Buildings) SA-H7-POOL: South Australia: pool CPR signage and skimmer boxes (SA H7P1(2), SA H7D2(3) to (5))

South Australia adds to H7P1 that a swimming pool must have prominent, visible signage helping people give first aid and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation on young children. The sign must be attached to the pool safety barrier or displayed near the pool, be at least 300 mm by 300 mm, be made of durable weatherproof material and show first aid and CPR procedures. For clause 6.1.1 of AS 1926.3 a skimmer box counts as an outlet and must have a means of releasing vacuum pressure if the suction becomes blocked.
