The person with management or control ensures a detailed inspection at least every 12 months by a competent person (for continuously blown inflatables under 9 metres platform height, a person with the relevant knowledge and skills; otherwise a registered professional engineer with that knowledge, or a person the regulator determines), covering operational history, the log book, maintenance and inspections, tests and records, and critical components. The regulator may extend the date by up to 35 days to align with an annual event.
