A manufacturer, importer or supplier does not supply plant specified in Part 1 of Schedule 5 (pressure equipment of hazard level A to D under AS 4343:2014 other than pressure piping, gas cylinders under AS 2030.1:2009, tower cranes, lifts, escalators and moving walkways, building maintenance units, hoists lifting people with platform travel over 2.4 metres, crane work boxes, amusement devices and passenger ropeways, concrete placing booms, prefabricated scaffolding, boom-type EWPs, larger gantry and bridge cranes and those handling molten metal or Schedule 11 chemicals, vehicle hoists, mast climbing work platforms, and mobile cranes over 10 tonnes, subject to the Schedule 5 exceptions) unless its design is registered under Part 5.3.
