The person with management or control of an amusement device or passenger ropeway ensures it is operated only by a person instructed and trained in its proper operation (including the daily checks), that it is checked before operation on each day of use, run without passengers before carrying passengers each day, and that the checks and test runs are properly and accurately recorded in a log book.
