Under WHS Regulation 61 a designer must ensure a structure is designed to eliminate the need for any hazardous manual task in connection with it, or where that is not reasonably practicable to minimise it so far as reasonably practicable, with guidance in the model Code of Practice on hazardous manual tasks.
