Australia Model Code of Practice: Safe Design of Structures 3.1b: 3.1 Clients prepare a project brief with safety requirements and give all relevant site information

The client should prepare a project brief that sets out safety requirements and objectives so client and designer share expectations, and must give the designer all available information about the site that may affect health and safety. Designers should ask the client about the activities and tasks likely or intended in the structure, including tasks of those who maintain, repair, service or clean it as an integral part of use.
