Suppliers under MMR contracts must report progress against their Indigenous Participation Plan quarterly through the IPPRS: for employment targets the total workforce working hours and the Indigenous workforce working hours for the quarter, from which the system calculates full time equivalents; and for supplier use the details of subcontracts or purchases made with Indigenous enterprises, including the Australian Business Number and name of the enterprise, the value and date, a description of the goods or services and whether the contract was let by the supplier directly or by a subcontractor within its supply chain. Portfolios set the number of days, up to 60, a contractor has to submit each quarterly report; organisation-level supply chain reports are due within a fixed 14 days. The Commonwealth entity must ensure suppliers report in a timely manner and must review all information provided. The NIAA publishes on its website the names and contract details of suppliers awarded contracts containing the MMR.
