A rostered day off is a non-holiday weekday that the employee does not work under an average hours system. Where an employee is entitled to a day off in their cycle under clause 13.7, the employer must tell them which weekday it is at least 4 weeks ahead. The day or part day off must not fall on an NES public holiday.
