Continuous shiftworkers working a rostered shift with its major portion on a Sunday or public holiday receive 200% of the ordinary hourly rate if permanent or 250% if casual. Non-continuous shiftworkers receive, for each hour on a Sunday, 200% (full-time and part-time) or 250% (casual), and on a public holiday at 250% (full-time and part-time) or 312.5% (casual). Time worked before midnight on a shift that begins after 11.00 pm but before midnight on a Sunday or holiday does not attract that day's rate, but time on a shift beginning before midnight on the day before a Sunday or holiday counts as Sunday or holiday time. A shift falling partly on a holiday is the holiday shift if its major portion falls on the holiday. These rates replace the clause 13.13 premiums.
