For work done between midnight Friday and midnight Saturday, permanent shiftworkers must get at least 150% of the ordinary hourly rate, casual shiftworkers 187.5%. These rates replace, and are not added to, the shift premiums in clause 13.13. The Saturday period runs by the clock from midnight Friday, so a Friday night shift that carries past midnight is paid at the Saturday rate for the hours after midnight.
