Facilities that generate, store or handle waste manage it through a waste management system covering minimisation, generation, transport, disposal and monitoring. They characterise waste by composition, source and quantity; prevent waste and plan recycling and reuse; store waste so incompatibles are kept apart with inspection space and closed containers, with secondary containment where liquid waste volumes exceed 220 litres; use qualified commercial or government contractors under formal procurement agreements where available; treat hazardous waste storage, transport and disposal with extra controls, including for small quantities; and keep monitoring records of hazardous waste identity, state, quantity and shipment tracking, with groundwater monitoring where hazardous waste is stored or pretreated on site.
The graph holds this control, the 0 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
