A person seeking a major hazard facility licence has to provide, in addition to the general application content, enough detail for the facility to be identified and the safety case prepared under Part 5.2. Under r 470 the Authority will refuse the licence unless the safety case meets Part 5.2 Division 8 and the applicant has met Part 5.2 Divisions 6 and 9 (r 395(a)(ii) excepted).
