Asbestos removal licences are issued to businesses, not to individual workers. Eligibility is limited to employers and self-employed persons. An organisation planning to take on licensed removal work must therefore apply in its own capacity as employer (or the sole trader in their own right), and its workers perform the work under that business's licence.
