An employer must make a record of any training it provides on carrying out asbestos-related activities and keep that record while it is still applicable. Unlike removal work, where training records follow the worker (r 270), this record covers any training given for activities such as sealing, drilling, sampling, laundering or waste transport. Penalty: 60 penalty units (natural person) or 300 penalty units (body corporate).
