Before asbestos removal work begins at a workplace, an employer there must inform its employees working in the immediate and adjacent areas about the planned removal. This applies to any employer at the workplace, not only the one commissioning or performing the removal (see also r 301 for occupiers of neighbouring premises). Act compliance: ss 21 and 23.
