An asbestos removal licence holder doing removal work must: provide suitable facilities to decontaminate people, the work area, and tools and equipment, for the whole job; ensure nobody takes likely contaminated protective clothing or equipment out of the removal area unless it is decontaminated or contained first; and ensure likely contaminated equipment (other than PPE) is decontaminated before leaving the area, or placed in a sealed container whose outside is decontaminated before it leaves. Penalty for each: 100 penalty units (natural person) or 500 penalty units (body corporate).
