Victoria Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2017 r231: r 231 Workplace controller must remove asbestos, or else enclose, or else seal it

Whoever manages or controls a workplace must deal with risks from asbestos under its control in a set order: first eliminate the risk by removing the asbestos, as far as reasonably practicable; if removal is not reasonably practicable, reduce the risk by enclosing it as far as reasonably practicable; and if a risk still remains after enclosure, reduce it further by sealing, as far as reasonably practicable.
