Whoever manages or controls a workplace must supply the asbestos register, in copy, to: each employer or self-employed individual operating a business at the workplace; any asbestos removal licence holder engaged for removal work; and anyone who asks for it and is obliged by r 305 to get it. It must tell anyone engaged for work there that could expose them to airborne asbestos about the register and let them see it; give access to any other person it engages for work at the workplace on request (including a designer); and supply a copy on request to an employer or self-employed individual intending to occupy the workplace. Penalty for each: 60 penalty units (natural person) or 300 penalty units (body corporate).
