Whoever manages or controls a workplace must update the asbestos register so it stays current, recording any change in condition and any asbestos that has been removed, enclosed or sealed. In any event the register must be reviewed, and revised where needed, no less often than every 5 years. A separate pre-demolition or pre-refurbishment review is required by r 241.
