Victoria Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 s69-1-d: s 69(1)(d) Give HSRs paid time off for their role and other approved training

The employer must let the HSR take paid time off work, as much as is needed or as the regulations prescribe, for exercising HSR powers under Part 7 and for attending any other Authority approved or conducted OHS course (beyond the s 67 courses) of which the employer has had at least 14 days' notice. Maximum penalty: 60 penalty units for an individual, 300 for a body corporate.
